The book "The Secret" is already listed as #1 on the NY TImes Best Seller List as of today as well as #1 on the USA Today best seller list. Some of the teachers on the secret have professed to having a million hits on the Internet recently.
My wife Cheryl and myself are no strangers to the Law of Attraction. We have known about and applied these principals for some time in our life. In fact, we used the very principles of the Law of Attraction to find each other and create our life of living happily ever after. I discovered the Law of Attraction about 10 years ago. I have always been on a search for the highest truth. I seemed to understand at a very young age that what we are all seeking is to be happy. I understood that happiness was an internal state of being. I also realized that almost everything people do in life is for the purpose to get more of it (happiness). Why do we think we need more money? We think we will be happier. Why do we want a nice car or a good career? Why do we want a family? Why do we want to look good? And on and on...
It quickly came to me that behind every desire is a motivation to feel good and ultimately be happy. Most people understand that. So as a young child that made me think...."gosh, so I need to study hard in school and get good grades, I need to go through 12 years of school and at least 4 years of college, maybe 8 for a total of up to 20 years of school (my entire childhood!) so that I can get a good job and make a lot of money. And why was I doing this? So I could be happy. "Hmmm....there must be an easier way" I thought. "If happiness is an internal state of being or a "feeling", then perhaps there is a shortcut to creating it. Maybe I don't need "things" to make me happy. Maybe I don't need 20 years of school and a great job to make me happy". So I embarked on my mission to seek the "truth" of how to find happiness. Along the way I learned the truth about everything. I even learned the truth about myself and how I developed my beliefs based on my upbringing and environment. I learned to understand how we get programmed and hypnotized by mistruths and myths and how that becomes our staunch beliefs by which we live.
I understand that the world is not what it seemed to be or the way it presented itself. More often than not I learned that black is white and white is black. Whether it be politics, corporations, medicine, education, or health, the underlying truth exposed great lies and myths. It only made my hunger for the highest truth keep growing. I came across and studied some of the greatest teachers and teachings. I studied concepts of the teachings of Yoga, Jesus Christ, Buddhism, Judaism, Gorgieff. I read the books by Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Pramahansa Yogananda, and many others. I even was drawn to the works of popular metaphysical channels such as Seth, Romtha (as seen in What the Bleep) and Lazaris.
It all opened my eyes and laid out the highest truths before me. But the greatest teachers of all were the teachings of Abraham presented by Jerry and Ester Hicks.
What I loved most about the Abraham teachings was the amazing simplicity by which the information is presented. As an engineer, it is the greatest challenge to simplify the most complex problems, systems or equations in the most simplified fashion. This is referred to as coming up with the most elegant solution. An example would be the equation: 2116/1058...the more elegant way of saying the same thing is 1/2.
Abraham has the ability to take the most complex nature of all spirituality and highest truth, the likes of which I have heard from some of the greatest teachers on the planet, and deliver it in a fashion that children can easily understand. It is clear, it is simple, it is accurate, it is powerful. And most importantly, it is life altering. She teaches us how to access the great powers of the law of attraction and take responsibility for everything that we attract into our life. She teaches us how to "create" happiness right now and attract more of it just with our mind and thoughts.
I have been studying the Law of Attraction as taught by Abraham for almost 10 years. I have seen her in seminars many times and literally listened to over 200 audio tapes. It is no accident that she was one of the key instructors on the first edition of the Secret DVD. She is an unbelievable leader in this work, which has managed to stay out of the public eye. I am sure they had good reasons to keep their world low key by removing themselves from the second edition of the Secret DVD. It was amazing to see Ester speaking and teaching the concepts of creation in this movie. I cried seeing this powerful information being released to the mainstream world.
My life has been forever changed by these powerful teachings. I have manifest millions of dollars from bankruptcy. I have made serious injuries vanish. I have helped people reverse terminal illness. I have made pain vanish in seconds. I have made wind stop in minutes and thunderstorms turn into sunshine. I've had lost dogs quickly materialize. I have seen impossible things happen thousands of time. Miracles are routine, I am not kidding! I am a true believer because it works! All of these things have been made possible because of the great truth....the Law of Attraction and how to apply it.
Before I met Cheryl, I made a list of all the qualities I desired in a soul mate. It was 4 pages long with about 100 items on it. There was a part of me that certainly looked at this list and wanted to think, "there is no way you can find a match that comes close to having all these things you are looking for". But I knew that with the proper application of the law of attraction, nothing is impossible. So I dug into my processes and did my journaling with great expectation. I went so far as to write love letters to my future partner. I experienced her and spoke to her and loved her already with all my heart regardless that she did not yet exist in my life. She did appear not long afterwards and is now my beautiful wife and partner.
