Pivoting your Thoughts

Joel's Law of Attraction Lesson Series No. 1

Everybody is still talking about the Secret (book and DVD) and the Law of Attraction.  Now the question is, who is applying the principals and are they achieving results?

Applying the principals of the law of attraction is easy but it does take action and there is some effort on your part.

If you understand the work, the bottom line is that you will receive what you put out vibrationally.  The Universe will match your vibrational output of every "now" moment signal you are putting out and bring back an event, a thing, a person, a thought, a feeling, or any form of manifestation that is similar to the vibrations you are sending.  So the "effort" or "work" part is to become masters of our own vibrational output.  

We can do this most effectively by controlling and "choosing" what we think about.  Since our emotions are essentially our "vibration meter" we can immediately "feel" if we are successfully thinking the right thoughts or not.  If it feels "good", we are vibrating in a way that is bringing us what we want, so keep doing what you are doing and keep thinking what you are thinking.  If we feel "bad", we are vibrating right now in a way that is attracting what we don't want.   Since you don't want to do that, your "work" is now to "pivot" your thoughts toward something else until you get an emotional signal that feels good.  You may need to completely ignore the subject of what you are thinking about and divert yourself to a completely different subject that feels good or look for a different perspective about the subject that feels good.

 If you find yourself in a very negative situation that is in your face, and it is difficult to ignore, then I recommend looking immediately for the best possible perspectives, hopes, or outcomes until you feel some emotional relief.  Remember, the Law of Attraction is magnetic.  If you look for thoughts that feel good, it will assist you by bringing you more thoughts that feel good and on and on. It will help you create an upward spiral of better feeling thoughts. The sooner you "pivot" yourself in this direction of better feeling thoughts the better. 

The more you stay in the negativity, the more the law of attraction will bring you bad feeling thoughts.  It is a downward spiral. The longer you stay the more you will attract more bad thoughts, more bad situations, more people to discuss it with, etc.  Have you ever found yourself stuck "obsessing" over a negative situation?  It means you are in the grasps of the law of attraction.  To avoid this it is important you pivot away from bad feeling "thoughts" as soon as possible even if you are still in the midst of a horrendous situation.  It is especially important in those situations. 
If you are doing the work effectively and routinely, there is a tremendous byproduct, you will feel good more often right now.  You may even feel great, alive, passionate, excited, empowered, safe, strong, energetic, full of life force, etc.  What do you think you will be attracting in your life if you are more routinely putting out that kind of vibration? 

If you don't do the routine "work" of pivoting your negative feelings, and you get stuck in your negative responses to your situation or to anything in your life, you will certainly spiral down emotionally. What kind of future will you expect to be attracting if you are feeling emotions that are angry, sad, depressed, exhausted, blame, fear, frustration, upset, impatient, helpless, pressured, etc.?

Change your thoughts NOW, NOW, NOW!  Don't wait.  Don't obsess, don't call your friends to commiserate,  don't feel sorry for yourself, don't engage victim thinking,  don't defend the way you feel,  don't indulge the unfairness, don't expand on the circumstances, don't fume, don't figure it out, just get off it now and MOVE ON as quickly as you can.  PIVOT your thoughts to something that feels better. Then from there, keep going until it feels even better.  Climb the ladder out of your low vibration as quickly as you can before the Law of Attraction makes you too heavy to climb.

Your goal is to at least feel a sense of relief regarding any negative situation that is in your life or in your head.  Then reach for thoughts of hope and positive outcomes until you feel your emotions going higher.

Thoughts are popping into your head all day long.  Catch the ones that take you down.  Can you feel it?  Sometimes I can see my partner suddenly showing some anxiety.  I will ask her, what's the matter?  She will say, I don't know.  I will ask her, what is the last thought you can remember that just popped into your mind?  And suddenly a light bulb would go on as she remembered thinking about something she had to do and had forgotten about.  Now she can pivot to a good thought about it.  Many of us have "habits" of negative thought thinking.  We don't have to go for years of therapy to cleanse them.  We just have to slowly master the art of "pivoting" a few of those negative thoughts to positive ones and the law of attraction will help you go from there.  The more you do it, the more this will become your new habit and the easier it will become.  If you stay with it consistently the older habits will start to transform.  My new pattern of thinking and pivoting is now a new way of life for me.

Do this in the morning.  Do this in the afternoon.  Do this in the early evening.  Do this at night.  If you do, in 30-90 days your life will be dramatically different.  The changes will start immediately just in the way you have empowered yourself to change your emotional affect to any situation.  It could be with your job, your health, your finances, your relationship, your family, it doesn't matter.  The principals are the same.  You will learn just how much you are in charge of your life.  You will feel amazed and enlightened to know that you are the creator of your future that materializes in your life and in your world.
