| Terrence Daryl Shulman has been a licensed attorney since 1992 and a licensed social worker/addictions therapist since 1997. In 1992 he founded CASA (Cleptomaniacs and Shoplifters Anonymous), a support group with chapters throughout Metro-Detroit, the nation and online. In 2001 he founded The Shulman Center to address the growing issues/addictions of shopping, shoplifting and employee theft. One out of 11 people in America shoplift. The FBI calls employee theft the fastest growing crime in America. The US Chamber of Commerce estimates 3/4 of Americans steal from work and most do repeatedly. Mr Shulman is the author of the "Something for Nothing: Shoplifting Addiction and Recovery" and "Biting the Hand That Feeds: The Employee Theft Epidemic". |
